Hang Gliding Rio
Hang Gliding Rio takes place at the Pedra Bonita free flight ramp, located at 520 meters of altitude within the boundaries of the Tijuca National Park. This is the only free flight ramp in the city.
Pepino Beach in São Conrado will be our meeting point. There, you’ll find a kind of airport for hang gliding and paragliding. We’ll register with the Free Flight Association and head to the Pedra Bonita flight ramp.
All our professionals are highly experienced, with extensive knowledge of the sport and the region. Hang Gliding features routes designed to showcase the city’s beaches, mountains, and peaks such as Pedra da Gávea and Two Brothers Hill. After a safety briefing with the pilot, it’s time to take off and enjoy the hang gliding adventure over Rio de Janeiro’s incredible landscape.
Free flight can also be done with high-quality paragliding equipment. Paragliding offers a smoother and longer ride, while hang gliding provides a faster and more thrilling experience.
