Direct flights to Noronha depart from Recife and Natal, taking about an hour, while cruises from large companies and sailboats are other options for those who want to visit Noronha between November and March. Tip: To enter the archipelago, you need to pay a preservation fee to the State of Pernambuco, which costs BRL 43.20 per day. As payment is mandatory, it is better to do it through Noronha’s official website before your trip.

Noronha has small inns, with few rooms, which were houses of the Noronha people and renovated to accommodate tourists looking for cheaper accommodation options on the island, which are in the range of BRL 250 for a couple. If you want better infrastructure, the inns can vary in the price range of BRL 450, BRL 600; and from BRL 700 if you want the famous and more expensive inns.

Fernando de Noronha is known as one of the best places in Brazil for surfing, its tubular waves and crystal-clear waters attract surfers to the beaches of Cacimba do Padre, Boldró, Cachorro, among others. You can also do trails, walking, bike rides, boat rides, and buggy rides to know the entire extent of the island and discover why it is one of the most famous itineraries in Brazil.
Best time to go to Fernando de Noronha:
Depending on the month you choose to visit this paradise means finding variation in the prices of services and lodging. December, January, February, and the mid-year holidays (July) are the high season and the island is more crowded. In April, May, and June, your trip can become cheaper. The island’s inhabitants say that Noronha has two seasons: a dry one (from August to February) and a rainy one (from March to July). But don’t worry, being rainy doesn’t mean that there won’t be sun throughout the day!
