Day 1: Welcome to Rio de Janeiro!

We will pick you up at the Rio de Janeiro Airport/Bus Station (SDU or GIG) and take you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city at your leisure!

Day 2: Exploring Rio de Janeiro!

Meals included: Breakfast

We’ll start the day by visiting Corcovado, home to the Christ the Redeemer statue, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World located in the Tijuca National Park, a place with rich natural beauty.

Next, we’ll visit the exterior of the Maracanã Stadium to learn about its history as the venue for the 1950 and 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.

The tour continues to the Sambódromo, the famous Carnival parade location, and a visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. Sebastian, the patron saint of the city.

We will take a break for lunch (not included).

We then head to the Sugarloaf Mountain complex, where we’ll ride the world-famous Sugarloaf cable car, explore Urca Hill and Red Beach.

Day 3: Ecological City Tour

Meals included: Breakfast

The ecological tour starts at Pedra Bonita, the hang-gliding ramp of Rio de Janeiro. From here, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Two Brothers Hill, São Conrado Beach, and Rocinha Favela. We then hike the Pedra Bonita Trail, an easy 40-minute walk to the summit, offering stunning views of Pedra da Gávea, Barra da Tijuca, and São Conrado Beach, surrounded by the lush Tijuca Forest.

After the hike, we’ll visit the Vista Chinesa, a pavilion honoring the Chinese who introduced tea cultivation to Brazil. From this vantage point, you can see the Christ the Redeemer, Guanabara Bay, Sugarloaf Mountain, and more.

We’ll finish the tour with a refreshing dip at Horto Waterfall. The trail is easy, with a few obstacles, and located in the Tijuca National Park.

We will take you to Rio de Janeiro Airport (SDU or GIG) and pick you up at Foz do Iguaçu Airport (IGU), dropping you off at your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring Foz at your leisure!

Day 5: Brazilian Side of the Iguassu Falls

In the morning, we’ll visit the Brazilian side of the Iguassu Falls, offering a complete panoramic view of this wonder. We’ll walk a 1.5 km trail, getting closer to the main bridge where you can feel the spray from the falls—a refreshing baptism from this natural marvel.

After visiting the Iguassu Falls, you will head to the Bird Park, where you will explore the diversity of tropical birds.

In the afternoon, our bilingual guide will take you to Aguaray Ecosport, a protected area beside the National Park. We’ll embark on a 45-minute hike through the preserved Atlantic Forest to the Iguaçu River shore, where we’ll start a guided Kayak or Stand-Up Paddle tour. After 1.5 hours of paddling, we’ll hike 20 minutes to a 15-meter-high waterfall—an ideal experience for nature lovers!

Day 6: Argentine Side of the Iguassu Falls

We will head to Argentina to explore the Iguazú National Park. You’ll walk approximately 5 km through different waterfalls, which form one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature: Iguassu Falls. The Argentine side offers an intimate connection with nature, with chances to spot native animals and explore the subtropical forest. You’ll traverse three trails with different views of the falls, and the highlight will be the Devil’s Throat, where a platform brings you face-to-face with this powerful waterfall.

Do I need a visa?
As a Brazilian, your updated ID card allows you to cross the border into Argentina and Paraguay. Please check requirements before traveling, as it is the tourist’s responsibility.

How to Get to Rio de Janeiro?
By plane: There are direct flights to Rio de Janeiro. The city has two airports: Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport (SDU), located in the city center, and RIOgaleão – Tom Jobim International Airport (GIG), which is further away. Although we don’t handle flight bookings, our team is available to help you find the best options when purchasing tickets. Contact us for more information.

By car:
From São Paulo, take the Ayrton Senna/Carvalho Pinto (SP 070) and Via Dutra (BR 116) highways. You will reach the Linha Vermelha after approximately 430 km.
From Belo Horizonte, follow the BR 040, which will take you to Linha Vermelha. You will reach Ipanema Beach after approximately 450 km.
From Rio-Santos (BR 101), it’s straightforward. The highway turns into Avenida Brasil upon arrival in Rio. From Paraty to Copacabana, it’s around 250 km.
From Bahia, Espírito Santo, and the Lakes Region, take BR 101 and check your GPS for the route with the least traffic. Copacabana Beach is about 520 km from Vitória.

By bus:
Rio de Janeiro’s Bus Station is in the Port Zone, between downtown and the Rio-Niterói Bridge, about 4 km from downtown and 12 km from Copacabana. Public transport is available nearby (bus and VLT).

What physical effort is involved?
Some activities in the Rio de Janeiro trip involve physical effort, such as hiking. However, these are not too difficult. As long as you don’t have reduced mobility, you’ll enjoy it 100%. We can adapt the program to your needs.

Do I need to train for the activities?
No need to train, as our guides will be there to provide full support.

The itinerary and order of excursions may change due to weather and/or adverse conditions for tourism. If necessary, Nattrip will reschedule the activity for a compatible date at no additional cost.

Cancellations for Personal Reasons:
In accordance with EMBRATUR Normative Resolution number 161 of August 9, 1985, refunds will be made as follows:

Cancellation up to 30 days before the activity: 90% refund of the total value;
Cancellation between 29 and 21 days before the activity: 80% refund;
Cancellation less than 21 days before the activity: no refund.

No-show situations:
In the event of a no-show, when the customer fails to notify postponement or cancellation in advance and/or does not participate in the activity, Nattrip reserves the right to withhold the full amount paid by the customer.
