Day 1 - Welcome to Lençóis Maranhenses!

Today is the beginning of our Package to Lençóis Maranhenses. Our reception service will pick you up at São Luís International Airport (SLZ) and take you to the charming city of Barreirinhas, the gateway to Lençóis Maranhenses. After check-in, you can explore and enjoy local restaurants along the Preguiças River or around the central square.

Day 2 - Lagoa Bonita Circuit

The adventure begins with departure from Barreirinhas aboard a 4×4 open-air vehicle, which will take us to the ferry crossing over the Preguiças River and, finally, into the incredible Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. The journey to the dunes is approximately 20 km and takes about an hour, with the landscape gradually transforming and building up to the spectacle that awaits.

Upon arriving at the Park, we’ll climb a staircase to one of the highest points, where we’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the vast Lençóis Maranhenses. The local guide will lead us on a walk across the dunes, guiding us through various crystal-clear lagoons, perfect for a refreshing swim amid the white sand desert. The experience concludes with a magnificent sunset, which transforms the landscape and reveals the full beauty of this natural paradise.

Day 3 - Atins

Meals included: Breakfast

We start the day departing from Barreirinhas in a 4×4 Toyota open-air vehicle, crossing the region to a ferry that takes us over the Preguiças River. This crossing is the gateway to the incredible Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. The 30 km journey takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, always accompanied by a specialized local guide.

Our first stop is at the beginning of the dunes, where the park’s majestic formations begin. We continue towards Atins, where we’ll have the opportunity to see the mouth of the Preguiças River, a natural spectacle where the river meets the sea. From there, we continue for about 20 minutes to Canto do Atins. Upon arrival, we’ll take a guided walk through the dunes to discover crystal-clear lagoons and secluded beaches, perfect for a moment of relaxation.

Around 1:30 p.m., we’ll stop for lunch (not included) at a rustic restaurant, renowned in the region. This spot is famous for its delicious grilled shrimp, a gastronomic experience that perfectly complements our day immersed in the beauty and culture of Lençóis Maranhenses.

Day 4 - Caburé

Meals included: Breakfast

We start the day by cruising down the Preguiças River in a motorized boat, departing from Barreirinhas. After about 40 minutes of navigation, we arrive at the charming community of Vassouras, an area of the Pequenos Lençóis. Here, we enjoy a support point that offers a beautiful view of the dunes and mangroves, as well as the chance to observe the rich local flora and fauna. Depending on the season, you can cool off in natural lagoons formed by rain.

Our next stop is in the community of Mandacarú, where we will visit the Preguiças Lighthouse. With 160 steps, the lighthouse provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the region, offering a unique visual experience. We then head to the Caburé peninsula, a peaceful village where we’ll pause for lunch (not included). After lunch, you’ll have time to relax on the beaches of Caburé, enjoying the white sand and blue sea that make this region a true paradise.

This tour is perfect for those who want to explore the natural beauty and culture of the region, enjoying a full day of discovery and connection with the nature of Lençóis Maranhenses.
