Day 1 - Arrival in Pantanal!

Today, our reception service will pick you up at Campo Grande International Airport (CGR) and take you to the heart of the Pantanal, starting our Package to Pantanal. It will be a 142 km journey to your lodge, 100 km on the road and 42 km via the Transpantaneira. Enjoy the photo stops along the way!

Upon arriving at our lodge, we will take a walk to explore the area and learn more about the Pantanal and the accommodations.

Day 2 - Piranha fishing and nocturnal animal observation

We will start the day heading to Passo do Lontra, in the Pantanal of Corumbá, one of Brazil’s most famous fishing destinations, known as a true natural aquarium. The focus of this tour will be on catching one of the most legendary and feared fish: the piranha.

With sharp teeth and surrounded by myths, the piranha is a traditional species in the Pantanal. During the tour, you will be taken to strategic spots on the Miranda River to try to catch this fascinating fish, which will later be turned into delicious broths, prepared and served at the end of the fishing trip.

In the evening, we will take a moonlight safari in the Pantanal, a unique and unmissable experience. Aboard 4×4 vehicles, you will traverse off-road trails under the starry sky, guided by specialists who will reveal the secrets of the local wildlife.

The climate in the Pantanal is tropical, with two well-defined seasons: the rainy season and the dry season.

Rainy Season (October to April): During this period, concentrated rains occur, with January and February being the wettest months. The Pantanal plains flood, and the rivers overflow, creating an aquatic environment ideal for wildlife, especially birds and fish. The landscape transforms into a large water mirror, offering an impressive scenery.
Dry Season (May to September): With the absence of rains, temperatures become milder, ranging between 20°C and 25°C. During this time, the water recedes, and the flooded areas dry up, concentrating the wildlife around rivers and lagoons, making it easier to observe animals.

The weather conditions can vary from year to year, with changes in the amount of rain and the intensity of the dry season.

The best time to visit the Pantanal is between May and September, during the dry season, when the visibility of wildlife is higher. Between April and May, as the waters begin to recede, it is possible to witness a natural spectacle, with the wildlife adapting to the new conditions.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy for the Package to Pantanal

The itinerary and the order of the tours may be altered due to weather and/or adverse conditions for tourism. If necessary, Nattrip will reschedule the activity for a compatible date at no additional cost.

Cancellations due to personal reasons of the customer: According to normative deliberation number 161 of August 9, 1985, by EMBRATUR, refunds will be issued as follows:

Cancellation up to 30 days before the activity starts: 90% refund of the total amount;
Cancellation between 29 and 21 days before the activity starts: 80% refund of the total amount;
Cancellation less than 21 days before the activity starts: no refund;

No-show situations:
In cases of “no-show,” when the customer does not notify the postponement or cancellation with a minimum notice and/or does not participate in the activity, Nattrip reserves the right not to refund the customer.
