Arrival in São Paulo!

We will pick you up from the airport (GRU)/bus station and take you to your accommodation.

On the first day of your package, you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city as you wish. This post can help you choose an activity.

On the second day of your package, our tour begins with a departure from the hotel heading to Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo’s most famous green area, comparable in importance to New York’s Central Park. There, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the expansive green spaces, lakes, museums, and monuments, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the park.

We will then proceed to Paulista Avenue, the most symbolic street of São Paulo and one of the main business centers of the country. We will walk down the avenue, admiring the modern architecture, visiting cultural centers, and experiencing the vibrant urban life of this iconic avenue.

1

We will leave the hustle and bustle of the big city for the Eastern tranquility of the Liberdade district, home to the largest Japanese community outside of Japan. In the neighborhood, visitors can explore stores offering Oriental products, savor Japanese cuisine, and appreciate the typical decor that characterizes the area.

3

From the Liberdade district, we will move on to the Historic Center of São Paulo, where many of the city’s historical attractions are concentrated. We will visit the Pátio do Colégio, the Sé Cathedral, the São Bento Monastery, and the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB), immersing ourselves in the rich history and culture of the city.

Centro de SP Patio do Colegio

Next, we will make a stop at the São Paulo Municipal Market, an eclectic-style building opened in 1933. Specializing in fresh and dry products, the market is a great place to taste classic delights of Brazilian cuisine and discover the diversity of local products.

Mercado Municipal area externa

We will end the day in the bohemian Vila Madalena neighborhood, filled with art studios and famous murals, where visitors can appreciate street art, explore galleries, and enjoy the relaxed and creative atmosphere of the area.

On the third day of your travel package, we will head to the Pinheiros Municipal Market, which has a long history of serving as a meeting point between local producers and buyers, supplying residents with products from neighboring cities. However, in 2014, a revitalization movement began that transformed the market. This effort included the introduction of street food events, revitalizing the space and attracting a new audience in search of unique gastronomic experiences.

Mercado Municipal temperos e ervas

Next, we will visit a Gourmet Bakery where you will have the opportunity to experience a typical Paulistana encounter. Enjoy a “Pão na Chapa” (toasted bread) accompanied by an Espresso Coffee, the perfect combination for any time of the day. Additionally, take the opportunity to savor a delicious “Coxinha,” made from potato dough and filled with chicken and cream cheese, a true Brazilian classic.

Mercado Municipal sanduiche de mortadela

And our final stop on the gastronomic tour will be at a store specializing in “Pão de Queijo,” one of Brazil’s most beloved recipes. Here, you can taste this delicacy made of cheese and cassava starch, which wins over palates with its soft inside and crispy outside.

Mercado Municipal de Sao Paulo 1

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel.

On the fourth day of your package, we will start the day heading to Batman Alley, located in Vila Madalena, an artistic area of São Paulo. This alley is considered the birthplace of street art in the city, filled with vibrant and colorful murals that showcase the talent of various artists. Here, visitors can walk through streets and alleys covered in graffiti, immersing themselves in the creative and dynamic atmosphere of the area.

Vila Madalena Beco do Batman

Next, we will proceed to the Open Museum of Urban Art (M.A.A.U), the largest urban art complex in São Paulo. Located under a viaduct through which the subway passes, this open-air museum houses approximately 70 murals, each with its own story and style. Our bilingual tour guide, an expert in the field, will share insights about the artists and their works, providing a deep understanding of the impact of urban art in the city.

Mural Coletivo Avenida Sumare

Our next stop will be at the Minhocão, a famous viaduct in São Paulo where large murals have been created over the last 10 years. Visitors will be able to admire the grandeur and diversity of the artworks, which have transformed this urban structure into an open-air art gallery.

Museu Aberto de Arte Urbana MAAU

The tour continues to the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art, where visitors can view an incredible mural next to the museum’s entrance, created by the renowned artists Osgemeos. This mural is a perfect example of how urban art can harmoniously integrate with traditional cultural spaces.

Finally, we will visit a gallery dedicated to Urban Art, where visitors will have the opportunity to see the work of some of the best Brazilian artists. This stop allows for an even deeper immersion into the world of street art, enjoying unique pieces and learning about the techniques and inspirations behind the works.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel, providing visitors with well-deserved rest after an afternoon full of artistic discoveries and unforgettable cultural experiences in São Paulo.

On the last day of your package or trip, we will provide a transfer from your hotel to the airport or bus station.
